Our Philosophy

DDES LLC was founded to primarily serve pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research companies that use radioactive materials for R&D or active production. Even our logo is tied to the five primary research isotopes of Carbon, Tritium, Iodine, Phosphorus and Sulfur (CHIPS). Our staff's experience and knowledge in the R&D industry allows our clients to concentrate on their primary business mission and be assured their projects are completed safely and within budget.

Our mission is to provide our clients with creative solutions that solve complex health physics and radioactive waste management problems.  By using our professional experience combined with leading edge technologies, our goal is to minimize waste and impact to the environment. Our staff has more than 54 years of practical experience in the radiation protection and environmental safety industry. We have written numerous radioactive materials licenses and served as Radiation Safety Officers and Authorized Users for NRC and Agreement State licensees. We combine this experience with the latest approaches to decommissioning under NUREG 1757 and MARSSIM. We are also active members of the health physics and industrial hygiene societies, not just affiliate members.
